Developing High-Performing Associates: Critical Skills for Success ...

Why Attend?

?

Law firms are under pressure to quickly develop high-performing associates in order to stay competitive and serve clients.? What characteristics distinguish high-performing associates from average-performing associates, and how do you develop them?

?

Legal knowledge and technical skills are a given.? But other professional skills and attributes can make the difference between average and outstanding lawyers.? This group of skills - often labeled ?soft? skills, but more aptly described as ?critical? skills ? are not typically taught in law schools, and are sometimes harder to gain than substantive knowledge and expertise. ? What are these skills, can they be taught, and how?

?

In this new video webinar, nationally recognized lawyer development experts Heather Bock and Lori Berman discuss the results of their unique research study to distill the characteristics and behaviors that distinguish the highest-performing associates in an AmLaw 200 firm.? See what indicators their research identified, hear why certain skills and behaviors make a difference, and find out how to teach these skills to your associates.

?

This interactive seminar will give you the opportunity to submit your questions before and during the program for discussion by the speakers. In addition, all registrants receive a set of downloadable course materials and free access to the archived online program later.?
